Ford Taurus is the perfect car to accommodate your family comfortably on long journeys.

The Ford Taurus delivers more of what large sedan customers really want with even better fuel economy, more technology, design refinement, improved craftsmanship and enhanced driving dynamics.

The Taurus is powered by a 3.5-litre Ti-VCT V6 engine that produces 288 horsepower and 254 lb-ft of torque.

The engine benefits from the addition of twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT), achieving better fuel economy, more horsepower and a reduction in part-throttle emissions compared to the previous standard Taurus V6.

Each Taurus engine is mated to a unique six-speed automatic transmission specially tailored to that application. Six-speed transmissions add fuel economy and performance, as they allow for lower gearing to be optimized for improved off-the-line acceleration, yet enable higher gears to help provide economical cruising by keeping engine rpm levels low.

Standard equipment on the entry-level SE includes 18-inch painted aluminium wheels, automatic headlights, integrated blind spot mirrors, LED taillights, an exterior access keypad, cruise control, air-conditioning, a six-way power driver and passenger seat, a 60/40-split-folding rear seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a six-speaker sound system with CD player and an audio input jack.

The Ford Taurus offers a classy-looking passenger cabin. The backseat offers generous head- and legroom even for good-sized adults. At 20.1 cubic feet, the trunk is one of the largest you'll find on any sedan. Fold down the rear seats and the Taurus offers up even more space.

The Ford Taurus LTD also comes equipped with the MyFord Touch interface which consists of multiple display screens and the ability to input commands for various audio, phone via voice, touch controls or buttons on the steering wheel.
